Director/Producer/Writer: BILLIE LEE is a Korean-American interdisciplinary artist. Born in Korea, raised in New York City and New Jersey, now living in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, she strives to go after subjects that illuminate how we are connected through a complex web of social and historical circumstances, and how art and film can create a space for reflection. Her previous work includes Montage, a video based on the director’s footage from a tour through North Korea, funded by the Yale Council for East Asian Studies and shown publicly in Hawai‘i at the East West Center. Her work which encompasses drawing, video, painting, performance, and installation, has been shown in New York, San Francisco, Berlin, Seoul, Barcelona, and Hallein, Austria, with awards including a Fulbright Fellowship to South Korea. She has taught in the Visual Arts Department at the University of New Haven in Connecticut and holds degrees from the Yale School of Art and the Rhode Island School of Design. This is her first documentary film.

Editor: JONATHAN WING is a New York-based film editor, director, and designer. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, the heat and suburbs and a forest in the backyard drove him to escape boredom through stories and earned him an insatiable curiosity for the world. After his grandfather gave him an old film camera at age ten, he developed an interest in photography that taught him to observe, which would later inform his interest in filmmaking. Driven by a fascination with storytelling and characters, Wing graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston double majoring in English Literature and Chinese. Wing has worked as an editor, director, and cinematographer, with films screened and honored at festivals including Aspen Shortfest, DC Shorts, Asbury Shorts, Seattle International Film Festival, NYC Downtown Feature Film Fest, SF Indie Fest, Dances with Films, and Nantucket Film Festival. Wing was also the editor for the feature-length documentary,”Iphigenia,” that was broadcasted on national TV in Sweden (SVT). http://www.jonathanwing.com.
